Love my Hood

I live in the North End of Halifax, Nova Scotia Canada. Its a neighborhood full caulk full of randomness. Random art b/c a lot art students live here. A lot of street art b/c artists live in this hood. Art studios are all over, if care to open your eyes. Its a community that people really must experience over time. I have lived here for over 12 years.

OMG the Nike Original Marty McFly “Mag” is for Sale

October 7th, 2010 § Leave a Comment

Ok my life could be complete if I had the income to support the urge to buy these.

“If you ever thought about owning one of the rarest, most incredible shoes ever produced, then now is your shot. We heard recently that Nike may be releasing these sometime soon, but  up for sale now at Proflies in History Auctions is one of the Nike “Mag” auto-lacing shoes produced for Marty McFly to wear during Back to the Future II.The “Mag” was self-lacing with features, like the blue/green cement print, that went onto an extremely rare Nike Hyperdunk. Kanye West said the glowing Nike symbol gave him inspiration for the glow in the dark soles on his Air Yeezys. These are estimated to sell for somewhere between $12,000 to $15,000, so if you really want these, it will cost you. But will another pair ever be for sale anywhere else?”

Cement Pearls

October 7th, 2010 § 2 Comments

Cement earrings modeled as classic pearl studs. Each hand casted concrete sphere is set onto a sterling silver post. The best part is with wear, the color of earrings will deepen as the concrete is exposed to the air and the oils from your skin. So no 2 pairs will age the same. they become completely unique to the owner/wearer.

I don’t know how I forgot to add the website of the artist the first time, but here please click through if your interested in purchase or to see more: Metsa

“I am the Rules” the Air Max 90 Euro Campaign

August 17th, 2010 § Leave a Comment

Anyone that knows me knows that I like my sneakers. They also would know that in the first breathe I breath regarding a sneaker talk would be dedicated to the Air Max 90. I love that shoe.

The point to this post is that Nike and Foot Locker have released a sneaker a model of Air Max 90′s that have a colour way that warms the cockles of my heart. The colour way is based off the OG colours of the Air Max 90 and the Aix Max 1 from my childhood. Thank you is all I have to say. Now comes the challenge to be able to cop a pair while I live in Halifax, NS, Canada and the model is only released in Europe.

Any one out there feels the need to hit me up w/ a pair for promo purposes I take a size 9.5 (american sizes).
