The Campaign for Wool is a new initiative by Woolmark aiming to increase consumerism for wool and wool products. They commissioned Tom Hingston Studio to create a new family of logos for the campaign.

To kick off the campaign this week they had sheep aloose through out London. One such place was Lodon’s Savile Row which was turned into a gazing field for some Exmoor Horn Sheep.

Growing walls for a better lifestyle

October 13th, 2010 § Leave a Comment

The largest green wall in North America was unveiled on Oct. 9th in Vancouver, BC. It is an impressive 4,072 square feet, which is almost twice the size of the second largest green wall in North America. It has an astonishing 47,000 plants most being ferns, which are embedded in a non-soil growth medium. The system acts like a green lung for the building, and it was designed by GSky to be fully automated so that maintenance is reduced. The building where the wall is installed was designed by Kim Wilkie in conjunction with Wells Appeal. The wall will filter an estimated 15,500 lbs of dust and toxins from the air each year. With more visitors the building has the more CO2 for the plants to metabolize and exchange for O2. Fucking awesome isn’t it?

In Altlandsberg, Germany a bicycle shop in lieu of a sign adorned the front of their shop with 120 bikes. They mounted the bikes right to the exterior of the building. This brilliant  .
