Quintin is a young hat company from the States. They make a top of the line 5-panel hat. I like this design for winter, the muse was 80′s ski sweaters, haha, well done.

Lilly Allen & Karl Lagerfeld Introduce The CHANEL COCO COCOON Collection
September 30th, 2009 § Leave a Comment
Introducing the COCO COCOON COLLECTION.
Within this season of CHANEL’s Fall Winter 2009/10 is this rather great collection of casual sleek handbags and accessories. They are made of washed lambskin or nylon. The reversible tote bags and handbags, when turned inside out reveal the signature quilted CHANEL pattern. There is also some travel bags of which I really like. This collection for me bridges the classic blue-blooded style of Channel with the brazenness of our youth flash in a can culture.
Karl Lagerfeld himself chose and shot the adorable Lilly Allen to launch the campaign and although the collection is not yet in stores, I’ve got the the bags, the ads and some behind the scene shots for you. The COCO COCOON COLLECTION launches October 3rd in select locations.

The Blazer Hi comes swosshless and with a grey suede upper with sections of black patent leather. A large Nike print goes over the side-panel, the tongue comes in nylon and further details come in yellow. The Nike “Swooshless” Blazer Hi is now available from Proper.”

Undefeated CTRS X Nike X Livestrong
June 10th, 2009 § Leave a Comment
There has a lot of buzz lately on the great wide inter-web about the new Nike Livesrtong sneaker, and there has also been rumors of Undefeated opening a sneaker/bike shop. Then yesterday Ion the Undefeated Team Blog there was a few teaser pics of a new sign but no details of what it was for. Now if you knew yer ish and had yer ear to the industry you knew that the logo on the sign was for this “new” shop. Then tonight but an hr or so ago they posted on the Undefeated Team Blog — the confirmation that I needed to post and talk about this hype-ness publicly. BOOM. CTRS …
Now they are doin a contest with Nike to win a fabricated a fully functional 54cm, left side drive bicycle. Entering to win is easy; “cruise down to the shop on La Brea, buy a Livestrong band for 1 buck, receive a form to enter and win. Of course, all proceeds goes toward the research for the cure of cancer. Entirely, a meaningful and worthwhile cause.”

Oh yes it is a fact. Staple Design has it going on period. This is pretty cool sneaker design let alone the craziness of the colabo.
“If you check out the Star Trek “Shield” logo and the Airwalk “A” logo, it’s like they were born form the same mother. ” – Jeff Staple

With only 140 pairs released, and only being released at the Reed Space in NY this hotness is gonna get eaten up. fo more info and pics please check out Jeff’s personal blog here.

The Brooklyn Circus is a brand, boutique, and collective of artisans. Since the inception of the shop in BK they have grown into a total of three location (BK, San Fran, & Chi City) and a full line of really awesome clothing. This season has proven to be something of a mild stone for this brand. For not only did they launch an absolutely wonderful Spring ’09 collection last month but last night was the launch of their first book. This book is a gem bound in leather showcasing the inspiration of the BK Circus. I really want to get my mitts on one. Below are the images from; the advance book signing, then the poster for the event, followed by a selectionof the Spring ’09 (which is available in all three stores).

Loro Piana Record Bale Wool Scarves & Stoles
May 1st, 2009 § Leave a Comment
Every year Loro Piana designate their finest bale of wool the record bale which is measured through the fineness and strength. It is from this that each year fifty custom made suits are made using the Record Bale wool with the rest of the wool is by no means wasted, it is used to make stunning scarves and stoles. This year the Record Bale wool is produced by the Australian Highlander Ultrafine Farm in Tumbarumba, Australia. The stoles and scarves have a measurement of two meters by one meter and are made using a complex weaving process which makes the finished product softer and lighter. This is what makes the fabric feel so luscious, thus part of what makes them so desirable. The Record Bale wool stoles and scarves are available in extremely limited quantities from Loro Piana stores worldwide. So if your lucky enough, please enjoy with a gleefulness of the heart.

Gourmet EPI – the crispy
April 30th, 2009 § Leave a Comment
This is Gourmet’s high end line for those that step with a more than just a touch of class. These models should be in the finer retailers this week. These three models are made with a much higher quality of leather, better dyes, and pure giddiness. I am gushing a lil here.
P.S. I got called a sneaker pornographer the other day and I feel kinda like it this morning. haha
